Alexandre Bilodeau was born on September 8, 1987 in Montréal, Québec
Alexandre quickly became an enthusiast for the sensational side of freestyle skiing. At the age of 14, he became the best junior Canadian in the three disciplines of freestyle skiing: aerials, moguls and ski-cross. He joined the national moguls ski team at 17 years old and participated in the Olympic Games in Turin in 2006 where he finished in 11th place. In 2006 he also won his first World Cup moguls event, becoming the youngest athlete to climb to the top of the podium in this discipline. He finished the 2005/2006 season ranked second in the world. The year 2009 was a year of vindication since he won the World Freestyle Ski-Cross Championship and was classified in first place at the Moguls World Cup.
