Every year, thousands of tourists come to Kingsey Falls to experience the many local tourist attractions. In addition to the abundant craft boutiques in the region, Kingsey Falls has must-see landmarks for art lovers, science fans and nature lovers.
Parc Marie-Victorin
Parc Marie-Victorin was baptized in honour of the famous Québec botanist, Brother Marie-Victorin. The purpose of this site is to make the population aware of its living environment. It has five thematic gardens, covering a total area of 29 acres. In harmony with its environment, Parc Marie-Victorin is one of the only public gardens in Québec maintained in an environmentally friendly way. Nature lovers can enjoy guided tours of the gardens, giant 3-D mosaics, as well as an introduction to industrial recycling processes at Cascades.
Parc Marie-Victorin is open between June and October, and many activities and events take place throughout the summer. Packages are also available in cooperation with Théâtre des Grands Chênes.
Guided tours of Cascades
The Lemaire Brothers invite you to take a guided tour of one of the Cascades plants, which are on the forefront of the field of recovery. Come learn about methods of making paper and other company products! Groups interested in visiting the plant can contact Parc Marie-Victorin directly.
Théâtre des Grands Chênes
Since 1989, the Théâtre des Grands Chênes has yearly welcomed audiences from all parts of Québec. From mid-June to late August, Wednesday to Saturday, people come to relax and watch a show. Dinner-theatre packages and accommodation are available.
