Choosing the watermark best suited to your company

Choosing watermarks
- Offers a permanent record of your corporate identification.
- Is cost effective, when judged by the years that your permanent dandy roll is in service, and the longevity of the dandy roll will assure production consistency.
- Has a subtle and refined presence; it does not dominate the page or call undue attention to itself.
- Conveys prestige and quality to documents of value.
- Enables to differentiate the end uses by paper identification.
- Provides added security to all important documents.
In short, the watermark has the sophistication, the presence and elegance of proportion that best represent you.
Choosing your means of personal expression
As a centuries-old craft, watermarking has evolved variations that provide both individual expression and flexibility. There are four types of watermarks:
- A raised design, which appears white when held up to the light.
- A reversed shaded design, which is less defined than the shaded design, allows for a larger watermarked surface and bigger fonts.
- A shaded design, which appears dark when held up to the light.
- A multi-tone design, which includes the use of raised and shaded sections on one design.
Variations that affect cost are: the complexity of the design, its size, position
and repetition.
