("Cascades") announces that the Toronto Stock Exchange accepted its notice of intention to begin a normal course issuer bid in respect of its Common Shares. East Angus, Monday, January 11, 2010 – Cascades East Angus has recently received the FSC certification from the Forest Stewardship Council for the majority of its unbleached Kraft paper products. Both the FSC Recycled and FSC Mixed Sources certifications have been granted to the different Kraft grades aimed for the conversion of industrial and food packaging, as well as building materials and envelopes.
