The one-of-a-kind Laurent-Lemaire Information Technology Centre was built in 2004 to meet the specialized computer needs of Cascades plants. The bona fide general technological sector of the company, the Centre works within three main sectors:

Management software development adapted to the different sectors of activity at Cascades (manufacturing activities, transportation, storage, Web applications, accounting, human resources, etc.).

Technical support to users of the different systems and computer software installed in the operating units and offices of Cascades.
-
The management of the computer and telecommunications network in the group units located worldwide.
The Laurent-Lemaire Information Technology Centre has 125 employees, primarily made up of computer programmers, analysts and technicians. The centre continues to expand by hiring interns and graduates, since its team believes in its new employees and their abilities: as evidence, 95% of the employees hired at the Information Technology Centre are former interns.
