Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer
Allan Hogg joined Cascades in 1990 and has since held several key roles, including Corporate Controller and Director of Finance and Treasurer, before being appointed Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2010. A seasoned accountant with recognized analytical acumen, he is at the core of the company’s financial management and actively contributes to the development and implementation of its strategic orientations.
A committed and methodical leader, Allan has played a determining role in several major transformations, including the modernization of Cascades’ business processes, the transformation of the finance function, and margin improvement initiatives, the results of which have durably strengthened the company’s operational efficiency. His ability to clarify complex issues, structure follow-ups, and mobilize teams makes him a respected agent of change within the organization.
In addition to his internal responsibilities, Allan has served on the boards of directors of Boralex Inc., Reno de Medici SpA, and the Fondation de l'Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Accounting, and is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés of Québec. For more than 30 years, he has put his expertise at the service of Cascades.
